Nifty close to 10475, Sensex crosses 33800



The domestic markets have started with good growth. Nifty is trying to cross 10500, while the Sensex has managed to cross 33800. Sensex and Nifty are trading up 0.25 percent more.

Shopping is also seen in mid-caps and smallcap stocks. BSE's mid-cap index has increased by 0.5 percent, while the mid-cap index of the Nifty has increased by 0.6 percent. BSE's smallcap index has increased by 0.6 percent.

Good buying is seen in metal, pharma, realty, FMCG, capital goods, power and oil and gas stocks. Bank Nifty is trading at a level of 25,642 with an increase of 0.3%. However, pressure in consumer durables stocks is showing.

At the moment, BSE's 30-share index Sensex is trading 85 points, or 0.25 percent, at 33,815 level. NSE's 50-share index Nifty is trading 22 points, ie 0.25 percent, at 10,474 level.
